Description of Noroflox Enrofloxacin 10% 50 ml:

The preparation is a sterile transparent solution of homogeneous,  from light yellow to light brown.

Ingredients:

The active substance of the drug is enrofloxacin, belongs to the antibiotics of the fluoroquinolone group and has a wide spectrum of action against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria. Its mechanism of action is based on the inhibition of the bacterial enzyme gyrase, which leads to disruption of bacterial DNA replication.

Enrofloxacin exhibits bactericidal activity against such microorganisms: E. coli, Pseudomonas spp., Salmonella spp., Campylobacter spp., Haemophilus spp., Pasteurella spp., Bordetella spp., Erysipelothrixrhusiopathiae, K., Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus spp., Clostridium perfring ens, Actinobacillus spp., Fusobacterium spp., Enterococcus spp. and others, and also has a detrimental effect on mycoplasmas (Mycoplasma spp.) and chlamydia (Chlamydia spp.).

After parenteral administration, enrofloxacin is rapidly and completely absorbed due to its high bioavailability. Its maximum concentration in the blood is achieved on average after 6 hours, the therapeutic concentration is maintained for 2 days. Pigs: treatment of diseases of the digestive canal and respiratory organs caused by microorganisms sensitive to enrofloxacin (pasteurellosis, enzootic pneumonia, bacterial bronchopneumonia, colibacillosis, septicemia, salmonellosis, MMA syndrome, atrophic rhinitis).

Contraindications for use Noroflox Enrofloxacin 10% 50 ml:

Do not administer to animals hypersensitive to enrofloxacin.

Do not use the drug if persistent strains of pathogenic bacteria resistant to quinolines are found.

Do not use simultaneously with antibiotics of the tetracycline group, chloramphenicol, cephalosporins and macrolides.

When combined with tetracycline, macrolides and chloramphenicol (levomycetin), antagonistic phenomena may occur.

Do not use in animals with disorders of the central nervous system, kidney damage and cartilage growth disorders.

Do not use on horses.

Special Instruction:

Preparations from the quinolone group should be used with caution in animals with CNS disorders.

If the volume of the dose exceeds 5 ml for cattle and 2.5 ml for pigs, it must be divided and injected into different sites.

Slaughter of animals for meat is allowed 10 days after the last use of the drug. The use of milk for food by people is allowed 7 days after the last use of the drug.
