Ingredients of Pharmatex Vaginal Cream 12mg/g tube 72 g:

Active substance: benzalkonium chloride (benzalkonium choride);
100 g of vaginal cream contains 1.2 g of benzalkonium chloride;
Excipients: anhydrous citric acid, sodium hydrogen phosphate dodecahydrate, Tefoz 63 (macrogol 300, macrogol 1500 and ethylene glycol stearate), lavender oil, purified water.

Pharmacodynamic:

• Benzalkonium chloride has the properties of both a spermicide and an antiseptic.
• The active substance causes rupture of the sperm membrane. The destruction of the sperm occurs in two stages: first, the flagellum is destroyed, and then the head.
• The effectiveness of the product varies depending on how carefully the instructions for use are followed.
• Does not affect saprophytic microflora (Doderlein bacilli are preserved).
