Description of Catosal 10%:

Metabolism stimulator. 10% — is a metabolic stimulant and a tonic.
In appearance, the preparation is a transparent liquid of pink color.

Ingredients:

A complex drug containing in 100 ml:
— Butophosphamide 10.0 g;
— Cyanocobalamin – 0.005 g;
— Methyl-4-hydroxybenzoate 0.1 g
Excipients: butanol, sodium hydroxide, water for injection.

Pharmacologial Properties of Catosal 10% 100 ml:

10% Catosal is a metabolic stimulant and a tonic.
The active ingredients of the preparation show a stimulating effect on all metabolic processes in the body (protein, carbohydrate and fat), increase the resistance of the organism to the influence of unfavorable factors contributing to the growth and development of animals.

Phosphorus, which is part of the drug, affects almost all assimilation processes that occur in the body. It is contained in a form that is excreted from the body. Organic phosphorus preparations, due to their exclusively physiological type of action, are excellent general metabolic stimulants. This is confirmed by the fact that side effects such as palpitation, tremor, increased sweating, etc., which are often observed with other tonic agents, are not observed. In addition, the ability to respond to organs with smooth muscles is increased.

In the therapeutic doses, the Catosal acts mainly on the skeletal system, stimulates organs with smooth muscles (the urinary system, the gall bladder), and the heart muscle. Acute and chronic metabolic disorders are well adjusted by 10% Catosal.

Indications for use Catosal 10% 100 ml:

A tonic that stimulates metabolism in horses, cattle, pigs, sheep, goats, dogs, cats, fur-bearing animals and poultry when:

• metabolic disorders caused by poor feeding, maintenance or various diseases;
• violation of feeding, development and disease, when growing young animals;
• stimulation of labor and as an adjuvant for calcification;
• postpartum illness (exhaustion), after severe labor, and also as an aid in the treatment of infertility;
• tetanic syndromes and paresis;
• weakened state in animals;
• secondary anemia, anemia in helminthiases;

and also for:

• increased resistance of the body;
• accelerated and reduced molting in birds, as well as cannibalism;
• increase muscle activity in healthy animals.

Contraindications for use Catosal 10% 100 ml:

It is not allowed to simultaneously apply Noroflox with levomitsetinom, macrolides, tetracyclines, theophylline and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. Do not apply to laying hens.
Do not use concomitantly with macrolides, tetracycline and chloramphenicol, and do not mix with Marek’s vaccine.

Special Instruction:

Preparations from the quinolone group should be used with caution in animals with CNS disorders.

If the volume of the dose exceeds 5 ml for cattle and 2.5 ml for pigs, it is necessary to divide and inject into different sites.

Slaughter of animals for meat is allowed 10 days after the last use of the drug. The use of milk for food by people is allowed 7 days after the last use of the drug. Meat and milk received by the specified date are disposed of or fed to unproductive animals, depending on the conclusion of a veterinary medicine doctor.

Contraindications for use Catosal 10% 100 ml:
