Ingredients:
1 ml of the drug contains the active ingredient: enrofloxacin – 0.1 g and auxiliary components: potassium hydroxide, benzyl alcohol, water for injection.
Pharmacological Properties of Baytril Enrofloxacin 10% 1000 ml:
Enrofloxacin, part of the drug, belongs to the group of fluoroquinolones, has a broad spectrum of antibacterial and antimycoplasmic effects, inhibits the growth and development of Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, including Escherichia, Hemophilus, Salmonella, Pasteurella, Staphylococcus, Streptococcus, Clostridium, Pseudomonas, bordetell, campylobacteria, corynebacteria, protea, as well as mycoplasmas. The mechanism of action of enrofloxacin is to inhibit the activity of the enzyme gyrase, which affects the replication of the DNA helix in the nucleus of the bacterial cell. With oral administration of the drug, enroflcosacin is well and rapidly absorbed in the gastrointestinal tract and penetrates into all organs and tissues of the body. The maximum concentration of enrofloxacin in the blood is reached after 1.5-2 hours, the therapeutic concentration persists for 24 hours after the administration of the drug; is excreted from the body mainly unchanged, partially metabolized in ciprofloxacin and excreted in urine and feces.

The drug is used for chicken and turkeys with a curative purpose for colibacillosis, salmonellosis, streptococcosis, necrotic enteritis, hemophilia, mycoplasmosis, mixed infections, secondary infections in viral diseases and other diseases, the causative agents of which are sensitive to enrofloxacin.
Contraindications for use Baytril Enrofloxacin 10% 1000 ml:
It is not allowed to simultaneously apply Baytril with levomitsetinom, macrolides, tetracyclines, theophylline and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. Do not apply to laying hens.
Do not use concomitantly with macrolides, tetracycline and chloramphenicol, and do not mix with Marek’s vaccine.
Side Effects:
Baytril 10% solution for oral administration by the degree of exposure to the body are classified as moderately hazardous substances, in recommended doses well tolerated by animals, does not have embryotoxic, teratogenic and hepatotoxic effects.
