Baytril is an oral antimicrobial drug with a wide spectrum of action for the treatment of bacterial infections and mycoplasmosis of poultry.
Enrofloxacin, part of the drug, belongs to the group of fluoroquinolones, has a broad spectrum of antibacterial and antimycoplasmic effects, inhibits the growth and development of Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, including Escherichia, Hemophilus, Salmonella, Pasteurella, Staphylococcus, Streptococcus, Clostridium, Pseudomonas, bordetell, campylobacteria, corynebacteria, protea, as well as mycoplasmas.
The drug is used for chicken and turkeys with a curative purpose for colibacillosis, salmonellosis, streptococcosis, necrotic enteritis, hemophilia, mycoplasmosis, mixed infections, secondary infections in viral diseases and other diseases, the causative agents of which are sensitive to enrofloxacin.
